Chicago Fashion Foundation is off to a great start this year. We had two successful retailer/networking events, exciting updates made to our membership benefits, and 17 new members join.

For those of you who are members, you should have received the new username/password to access the Members Only information on our website effective May 1 st.

This quarter we are continuing to work on educational and innovative events for the remainder of the year.

Let SHE COMPLETE Complete Your Outfit

Have you ever tried on something that was nice, but it just needed that “little extra something” to take it from “you look nice” to “I love your outfit!”? Most people would agree that is where accessories come in.

The right accessory can give personality and character to an outfit. If there is anyone who believes in this fashion philosophy, it is Chicago Fashion Foundation member Karen Cooper, who also happens to be the owner and designer of She Complete accessories. Focusing on unique designs and quality products, She Complete carries an extensive collection of hats, belts, scarves hats and accessories made of luxurious materials.

Although designing accessories has always been a life long passion for Karen (she began making accessories as a child and sold her first piece at the age of 10), she has not always worked in the fashion industry. Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison , she worked in television production. “Before starting She Complete,” Karen states, “I worked as a video journalist for two years and then in television production for four years.
