The first year of the new board members is coming to an end, we have had many great events and would like to thank everyone who attended and/or volunteered their time.

Get ready for an even better 2007! Our website will be adding a new feature of job posting/internships and for our members career tips.

Happy Holidays!

Panel speakers included the following:

Lindsey Gladstone, Editor of DailyCandy Chicago

As the Editor of DailyCandy Chicago, Lindsey Gladstone is responsible for finding what’s new cool, and undiscovered in Chicago –from boutiques and restaurants to local designers. She’s a go-to source for all your need-to-know information. While working with DailyCandy, Lindsey has appeared on fashion, food and beauty segments for both CBS and NBC.

Laura Stuefen, Sr. Buyer-Women’s Designer, Macy’s North

Laura has been with Marshall Fields, now Macy’s, since 1996. Her career path at Macy’s has always been on the merchandising/buy side-from an assistant buyer in women’s bridge apparel to a planner in European designer apparel to a Sr. buyer in St. John/Women’s Designer Apparel. Prior to Macy’s, Laura worked as a marketing manager for a financial services publishing company.

Abby Dunn, Active Endeavors PR & Marketing Director

Abby Dunn brings six years of fashion and public relations experience to her position as Public Relations Director for retailer Active Endeavors. Her career began in New York City at Conde Nast Publications where she did PR for Allure Magazine. Abby produced notable segments with The Today Show, the E! Entertainment Network, and more for the magazine. She then moved to PR Consulting Firm where she represented high fashion clients, Balenciaga and Narciso Rodriguez, just as they were breaking ground and appearing on the cover of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and more.
