Kristen Amato

Beth LambertKristen Amato serves as the President and has been a member of Chicago Fashion Foundation since it began in 2002.

Kristen attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and received a degree in Chemistry. After working in Product Development and Human Resources at Abbott Laboratories, Kristen left to take a Strategy Recruiting role at Accenture. From there, she started making jewelry and people started asking her where she bought this piece or that one. After numerous individual orders, she started K.Amato Jewelry in May of 2002 and launched www.k-amato.com and www.k-amatowedding.com.

Her unique pieces can now be bought at over 40 boutiques/stores across the country, including Marshall Field's. The jewelry has been featured in "Women's Wear Daily", "Wedding Bells", "Chicago Social", and local Chicago news programs. New and vintage pendants, semiprecious stones, sterling silver, and gold-filled chains are combined to create stunning jewels that any girl would love.
