Elysabeth Alfano

Elysabeth Alfano started an international clothing accessories company in 2004. Elyse C Bec, Inc. produces several lines in Asia & South American and distributes via retail chain sales, website and trade shows in the U.S. She believes in giving back, therefore a portion of all proceeds supports environmental and community charities.

Prior to starting her own business, Elysabeth was the owner and Director for Portia Gallery, which grew into a 1.3 million dollar international art gallery featuring over 35 artists from the US, Europe and Asia. She also held a variety of marketing positions.

She earned her Masters of International Management/MBA at the American Graduate School of International Management. Elysabeth has a Bachelors of Arts from Northwestern University and also studied at the University de Paris V-Sorbonne in Paris France and University of Pennsylvania in Florence, Italy.

Elysabeth also taught at Columbia College, National Lewis University. She is fluent in French and also knows Italian, German and Spanish.

She has been seen in SLOW Food Guide to Chicago, voiceover and translation work with Kurtis Productions for the History Channel, Appearance on WGN around Town, various Cable Channels and NPR.

Elysabeth is now the Sponsorship Chair for the Chicago Fashion Foundation.
