Elizabeth Engquist
A long time Chicago resident, Liz is passionate about creating visibility for Chicago stores and designers and making it easier for shoppers to find what they're looking for. She actively looks for opportunities and partnerships to bring local businesses and shoppers together. Starting her own business has been a long time dream for Liz. She spent years researching numerous opportunities to focus on something more creative that would leverage her research and financial background with her strong interest in retail and fashion. SMS is a perfect combination of all her loves. Prior to starting SeeMore Shopping, Liz spent twelve years working in the financial field, primarily analyzing stocks for a large equity fund at Stein, Roe & Farnham, then in administrative management for an investment banking firm and project management for a start-up venture capital group. She has a B.S. in Finance from Ball State University. Liz recently joined the Board of The Chicago Fashion Foundation as its Treasurer. Inspired by the dedication and passion of its members to support the growth of and create awareness for the fashion industry in Chicago, Liz is excited about assisting the CFF in planning and implementing projects that contribute to its significant growth. |
